Hi, I’m Tanya!
PINCH ME! Seriously, someone please pinch me. I can’t believe after years of dreaming, I now have my own website! If this is a dream, please don’t let me wake up.
My love affair with blogs began back in 2011 when I was planning my wedding. I would check my favorite blogs daily, soaking up every jaw-dropping photo and beautiful idea. After our wedding, I shifted my focus to home design, entertaining, and food blogs, and when I became pregnant with our daughter, I dove headfirst into the world of baby blogs.
Finally, starting my own blog has allowed me to share my love for all things home, my passion for hosting, and my love language—gift giving. Whether it’s wrapping a gift with silk ribbon or adding a pink peony on top (because I am that girl who loves a detail!), I’m thrilled to bring all of these passions together here.
In 2017, my husband and I built our dream home, and during that time, I created an Instagram account to document the journey: @ourshoreview. I hand-selected every design element of our home, but even before that, I was consumed by all things design. When I wasn’t reading blogs, I was pouring over design books and scrolling through social media, dreaming of ways to decorate my home—and any others I could get my hands on!
My Instagram account has opened many doors, from design work inquiries to being featured on a local TV show. I’ve also been lucky enough to be featured on @magnolia, @inspiredbythis, and @smpliving, to name a few. Retailers, from clothing brands to candle companies, have even used my home as a backdrop for photoshoots. It was in this space that my new career in design was born!
Although I still enjoy scrolling through Instagram, my focus shifted from posting to pursuing my design career and juggling life with an active pre-teen. But the desire to share the details of what I’ve been working on never left—whether it’s a home office design, a backyard soiree, or a heartfelt “get well soon” gift.
